What each standard means in a classroom
Wi-Fi 6 was built for density. Its real win isn't peak speed — it's handling many devices efficiently, which is exactly what a 30-seat classroom needs. For general coverage and lighter zones, Wi-Fi 6 remains a smart, budget-friendly choice.
Wi-Fi 6E adds the 6 GHz band — a wide, uncongested highway with no legacy devices competing for airtime. In a packed lecture hall or exam room where hundreds of laptops connect at once, that clean spectrum is the difference between "it just works" and "the Wi-Fi died during the test." This is the sweet spot for high-density academic spaces today.
Wi-Fi 7 pushes further: wider channels, smarter use of multiple bands at once (Multi-Link Operation), and dramatically lower latency.
